The water treatment system is designed to provide treatment of suspended solids, dissolved metals and pH control. The system provides automated pH adjustment and a combination of polymers to enhance the flocculation of fine particulates which are commonly found in coal ash residuals.
These solids are removed through multiple filtration steps, and consolidated for disposal. Dissolved contaminants are treated and removed using adsorption media and ion exchange resins, resulting in a treatment discharge that meets the stringent requirements of Local, State and Federal permit requirements.
